About Me
Shawn Reynolds

Senior Software Engineer

I am an experienced and knowledgeable Software Engineer that's worked with a wide variety of technologies and has a passion for game development. I have lots of experience in Software Development while I was at a Hewlett Packard. I worked there as a software engineer in the networking field, writing automated tests, developing tools and working on software features for Enterprise Switches. I also worked extensively learning game development, working on personal projects within Unity and Unreal. This led me the opportunity to work full-time on a passion project that turned into a startup at Hidden Leaf Games. For 3 years I helped grow and lead an engineering team to develop a complex MOBA game from concept to release. I did contribute heavily to the software during this time using C+, C#, Python and CI/CD. I built many different systems, worked in a wide variety of areas of the code. I built CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build processes. I worked on in game heros, objectives, and other features. I have worked integrating various features with our backend to support voice, telemetry and other features. I am looking for a challenging and engaging oportunity to utilize the various skills I have on my next big project.

Games

Below is a list of some recent games, demos and proof of concepts that I have worked on recently.

Fangs

Fangs was a online 3 vs 3 MOBA game where players faced off in an arena. The game was launched as a free to play game where it would be funded via cosmetic enhancments. You can see example of the gameplay via youtube reviews.

This was a proof of concept where we developed an Overcooked style game but set in a world of figher fighters.

The game was launched but due to an insufficent number of players we shut the game down. You can see example of the gameplay via youtube reviews.

The only things I really didnt do was the main menu and some of the design work. This project represents about 2-3 weeks of work that was done for this POC.

  • Victims that need rescuing
